POP | Endlessly corroborating the thesis that cross-stitchers seem to have all the fun is Elsa Hansen Oldham, a Kentucky-based artist whose funny and unusual pairings (say Shelly Duvall and Coco Chanel, or Larry Flynt and Curly Neal of the Harlem Globetrotters) are garnering her lots of attention. She's also wife to Will Oldham, which is pretty neat, too. (T Magazine)

THE DREAM | As part of Design Week Portland, those in the PDX-zone can enjoy a wild whammy of fiber exhibitions. Curated by Christopher Dibble of the Stockpiler, this monster has no less that 17 incredible West Coast artists represented and looks like it's going to be ridiculously beautiful. Get over there Pacific Northwesterners! (Kat and Maouche)
